Hey Guys!
This is a friendly reminder that I will be doing a 5K on October 15th at Sugar House Park. We are raising awareness for hearing loss. Did you know 28 percent of the U.S. has hearing loss and it's growing? Many people get their hearing loss from loud noises, loud music, degenerative changes in their ears or other unknown anomalies. Many people have no idea of the resources that are out there to help them with coping with their hearing loss. Maybe you have a hearing loss and you simply don't know what to do about it or where to get support.
I would love to have you join my team or you can form your own. My team name is Give me the Willeys. I am the captain of that team. You do not have to feel obligated to donate money. But if you do, I appreciate your contribution as it goes towards the Salt Lake City, Utah Hearing Chapter to help people receive hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.
The registeration for the walk starts at 9 AM. The Walk itself begins at 10 AM and is 3 miles. There will be a bouncy 18 foot slide, good food, free entertainment with a drumming group, free face painting and free balloons from a few balloon makers. This is a good cause to get out walking, enjoy time with family and friends and to simply have FUN.

Go to the webiste www.walk4hearing.org and click on join a team or look for my name in the look up box prompter. I hope to see you all there!

Love,
Kristen Willey
